HILLARYS BEACH PARK

Public BBQ

Hillarys Beach Park offers a surprisingly quiet escape just five minutes' walk from the harbour shops, managing to remain relatively unpopulated even during peak holiday periods. The park features a modern playground that caters particularly well to older children, though parents should note the seating areas sit some distance along the pathway rather than adjacent to the play equipment. The lack of shade over both play and seating areas follows an unfortunate trend in Perth's newer park developments, making early morning or late afternoon visits advisable during warmer months. The space works well for bike riding and leisurely walks, with convenient parking available nearby or easy pedestrian access from Hillarys. Fresh coffee sits within comfortable walking distance. The relaxed atmosphere provides a pleasant alternative to the busier harbour precinct, though visitors should remain alert for electric scooters, which tend to zip through with some frequency.
